There are certain activities and pastimes that you should only do with the guys. So, leave your girl at home, get your friends together, log on to websites like wish.co.uk that specialize in making your adrenaline-fueled dreams become a reality and pencil these into your schedule:

Drive a tank
Track days in general are awesome if it means being let loose in a Ferrari 360, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage or whatever supercharged sports car gets your pulse racing. But you do not necessarily have to go ridiculously fast to enjoy yourself as there is also something special about climbing aboard a fully-functional tank and wreaking havoc in it. Well, as much havoc as you can wreak in a controlled environment and if you are lucky, you may just get the chance to roll over a car or two that gets in the way.

Do a bungeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Balls of steel are required to launch yourself head first off a platform high up and plunge towards the floor. Bungee jumping is not for the feint hearted, but the adrenalin rush you get from doing it is amazing. Where you do the jump will also greatly enhance the experience, especially if you can do so against a spectacular backdrop. Should nerves get the better of you, you could always strap yourself to a buddy and do a tandem jump.

Learn to fly
Not only the name of a brilliant Foo Fighters track, but also a brilliant way of doing something really unique. Whether in a helicopter, small plane or glider, learning to fly is pretty damn cool. Get above the clouds and become a pilot for a few hours in a white-knuckle ride you will not forget in a hurry. Step into the cockpit, take hold of the controls and feel the thrill of seeing the world from a bird’s-eye-view.

Go rock climbing
Rock climbing is the ultimate test of mental and physical strength. Again, there is a certain fear factor surrounding it, but the juice is well worth the squeeze. The issue of safety, of course, is paramount at all times so only climb when it is safe to do so and always make sure you know your own limits. Both rewarding and exhilarating, rock climbing is a great form of exercise and is even better if you have got your pals in attendance for a bit of competition.

Catch a whopper
No, not the beef-based meal: we’re talking about the fish-based trip. A day or two out deep-sea fishing in the ocean is a great way of bonding with the guys and having a bit of healthy competition to see who can land the biggest catch of the day. All being well, you should catch all manner of weird and wonderful fish from the sea and soak up a few rays while you are out on the water.
