A bit late but worth still checking out either online or in the stores, the vintage-inspired What Goes Around Comes Around Fall/Winter 2009 Collection is a fusion of 1980's punk and Old World Victorian with hints of eras spanning the 1920's to the 1940's. Creative Director and What Goes Around Comes Around co-founder Gerard Maione drew inspiration from the exquisite details of the romantic, yet rough concept of a Turn of the Century saloon meets bordello.

Ballard's Newest Store: The Field House

The Field House is reminiscent of general stores that were once the heart of rural towns across America. Its shelves are stocked with a wide variety of merchandise, including classic work wear, vintage goods, basic groceries, candies, flowers, perfumes and candles. It captures the history, geography and folklore of times past, when goods were less disposable and had more meaning, a time when people canned their own food and took a moment to converse with strangers. It is perhaps Blackbird's most personal store, as it is inspired by owner Nicole Miller's eccentric Pacific Northwest family and her desire to get back to basics. See more pics on the next page.

H&M goes interactive with their new updated site for Spring. View the model in different outfits just by the click of a wardrobe. We need more sites doing this for men since most of the time you see it on women's sites. Seems like we men are just becoming so demanding now huh. See more pics on the next page. 

Big Fashion Sale in Quebec

If you are in Old Montreal, Quebec, Canada during April 16th through the 19th, you may want to check out The Big Fashion Sale by Quebec Designers. We however get invited to the VIP, which is a day earlier. To bad we will not be able to make it since we will be in NY celebrating Marv's birthday that day. Anyhow, here is a list of designers participating: Mackage, Envers, JC Rags, Station 8 are just a few that will be present.

I swear if you walk into this store you would think you are going into my closet. The British Teddy Boy subculture is typified by young men wearing clothes inspired by the styles of the Edwardian period, which Savile Row tailors had tried to re-introduce after World War II.
