Jason & Casey of PLAN B BRANDING are the creative minds behind many of the logos of Major League Baseball. Their new fitted baseball cap line, THE CLINK ROOM, is an insider look at their creative process.
Their latest release is a concept logo taken from their design process with the Syracuse Chiefs. The Syracuse Chiefs displayed their indian chiefs logo beginning in 1961. In 1997 the team changed its name to ‘SkyChiefs’ due to native american sensitivity. Team loyalists called the ‘SkyChiefs’ name blasphemy, and demanded the club return to the former name. In 2007 Plan B dreamed up a new look for the Chiefs moniker. New identity honors the railroads that carried goods manufactured in Syracuse to points throughout America.
