No more batteries to replace and cuts down on waste

The Eco-Drive watches are powered by light. The Citizen Eco-Drive watches convert any light into energy that gets stored in a power cell and provides at least 6 months of power from a full charge, even if you store it in the dark!

Citizen’s Ride for Light event went down just in front of the famous Flatiron building in downtown NYC. A circle of stationary bikes from Revolve surrounded the symbolic globe that displayed light generated by the riders to Illuminate the Earth! The faster you peddle, the more energy you generate for the cause.

Citizen donated a total of $12k to the Ride for Light event to support the Habitat for Humanity cause which helps “families break the cycle of poverty and build long-term financial security”. The Habitat for Humanity isn’t just a hand out, but rather assists families with a stable home so that they may focus on food, medicine, child care, education and other essentials.
