This December, Miami is hosting the three biggest art shows in the world. The biggest one is actually Art Basel, which has been running for quite some time already. This will be Miami’s 11th edition of Art Basel, the most prestigious art show in the Americas. More than 260 leading galleries from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa will take part, showcasing works by more than 2,000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The exhibition includes the highest-quality paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations, photographs, video and editioned works. Art Basel shows in Miami, Basel and Hong Kong. Their show is December 6-9th.

The second biggest art fair is SCOPE, which taps into the cultural psyche to present only the most pioneering work across multiple creative disciplines. With over a decade of critically acclaimed art fairs and non-profit initiatives that extend beyond the ordinary in Contemporary art, design, music and fashion: Their Reach is Global. SCOPE Art Shows are held in Miami, Basel, New York, London and the Hamptons. See them in Miami, December 4-9th.

Then the new comer is Red Dot Art Fair. They open December 5-9th. Over 80 national and international dealers exhibit contemporary and secondary market, photography, painting, sculpture and works on paper in a luxurious space.

Book your ticket to Miami soon to experience some art culture. I believe Spirit Airlines has great rates to Florida right now. However, before you buy your flight, check out some pictures from last year’s Art Basel.
